The Land of Tyrina (How) Accepting/Not Started Yet

The land of Tyrina is one full of magic and wonder, but deeply organized in a way certain people dislike. These 'certain people' are your characters, whomever they/you choose to be. This land is filled with what you expect magical lands to have ex. fairies, merpeople. There are sections or divisions of peoples/groups. Merpeople stick to themselves or are at least visited by blues (people who aid in making the blue stripe of the rainbow). One group knows seldom about the others, so your characters must be different and want to know about the other groups, that's how characters will meet up and friends or enemys. If you want to create your character as a mythical creater other than a merperson, fairy, rainbow maker, animal, sound creator or animal carer, please PM me. I'm open to many ideas, including a human or two, but you must have a certain reason you want to have a human and not a Tyrina native, so PM those to me as well (Note: they must be more than a sentence or two, I practically want a paragraph explaining why you think you should have a human and what they'll be like, they can be evil or good). Friction is spreading as parents start to have major concerns about different groups mixing, as in their children becoming friends. War is going to start at some point, everyone knows, between those how believe that the barriers should be broken and those who want to honor the 'correct' ways. Your leaders, King Devmani and Queen Bijou, have not picked sides, for they are greatly distracted by the fact they're expecting their first child and they seem to agree with both, so they are no doubt longing for a compromise instead of war.

Please have at least one paragraph posts (5-7 sentences)
Try to include others and if you are being excluded, PM a character or try to fit yourself in without being invited.
You can be evil, in fact, I'd like a few evil people, but you have to put that under 'other' for your character.
You can change or make it seem like you changes sides, but don't do it every other time you post. Try to stick to one or switch and stick to that one.
Try to post regularly or whenever you think you should. If you're not a person who posts much, this isn't the thing for you.
No killing, kidnapping, attacking or doing anything bad to a character that isn't your own until you PM them. If they say no, then no and if they fine, then you can. I will have about two characters, so I will kill too. And if it's from natural things or Devmani decides something, I will PM you. But it also depends how much you post and how I think they might die or their death might be useful.
I am allowing you to kill yourselves if you want to stop or you think of a good way to die. I would like a warning though, so please PM me before hand.
No ghosts. Your characters cannot come back from the dead after they've been killed.
Please try to have at least one friend and an enemy or two. Having sides makes this all more fun. You can't be in the middle, but you can turn your back on friends in one big move and completely turn the tables.

What They Are: A rainbow maker, a red.

Talents: Is learning how to make the red stripe of the rainbow. Wants to break down the barriers, is somewhat friendly, can climb stuff easily, nice, kind, graceful, like to explore

Flaws: Can't cook to save her life, doesn't fully know how to make the rainbow, somewhat shy.

History: Her mother, Crimson, doesn't want her daughter knowing other groups. She'd rather have her looking at male reds, learning to keep house, be a mother and make the red stripe. But she loves her mother and her mother loves her back. She doesn't have sibling and she has no idea who her father is.

What They Are: Animal Carer

Talents: Talks and cares for animals. He teaches them small tricks and perfers to care for the wolves that aren't always nice, can kinda sorta do hand to hand combat.

Flaws: Falls for a pretty face, knows no sword fighting, can't talk to any other animals but wolves

History: No father, no mother, plenty of mad ex-girlfriends and he also tends a very shady, creepy blackberry patch.

Other: (Are they evil or good, half way agreeing or full out break barrier mode?) Evil, wants to break down the barriers so everyone can be easily controlled and punished. He wants to rule Tyrina one day, but knows he probably won't. That DOES NOT keep him from trying.

Fawn is tall and thin, with long, auburn hair. She loves jeans and T-shirts, and has impossibly violet eyes. Skin color is tan ^^

Personality: Fawn is Brave, honest, and sweet. She'll give her life for her friends, but if she doesn't like you, she'll let you know. If you get on her bad side, you might not wake up in the morning, so watch out. She also has killer healing skills (hahah, see what I did there?) Aside from that, people are just drawn to Fawn... She has this aura of mystery about her.

What They Are: Animal Carer

Talents: Fawn can speak to the animals- it's sort of a telepathic thing. She can also shape-shift into a select few animals, including a wolf, a hawk, a mouse, a dragon, a horse, and various species of cats. She is the only creature in Tyrina who has this skill, so the evil side is bound and determined to take her for their own.

Flaws: Fawn is stubborn. Very, very stubborn. She also has a fairly short temper. She has a tendency to avoid touchy subjects, and when she's caught in a conversation she doesn't want to be in, she'll turn into an animal and flee.

History: Fawn wasn't exactly born, she was... Created. She has no birthday. She was created in a 14 year old body and she will stay that way until she dies. Much like a cat, she has nine lives, one of which is gone due to an accident she had while making a potion one day. She lives beneath the Great Tree, which is located in the southeastern quarter of Tyrina. She has a ton of pretty things in her "den", including sea glass, gold, silver, and various potions, herbs, stones, and spellbooks.

Other: Fawn has this one necklace that has an unknown symbol on it. No one find out what it is until the end. And she's good! She'll stay good :3

Gender: female

Age (13-18): 16 (8 dragon years)

Personality: Very loving dragon but is worried for her race the world as it is and what it will become. She is very wise but has a overriding sense of adventure. Loves flying and playing with other dragons. She is carefree but that is her downfall.she always feels like if she isn't on her guard something will happen to her or someone she loves and is to concerned for her own good.

Talents: She can speak into other peoples minds in their language. Is an Ice breather and has gift for air

Flaws: Is afraid to trust people. Is too impulsive and is afraid of humans

History: Was separated from her parents during her first hunt at 6 months (1 human year) she was so concentrated she did not notice her parents being hunted by officials. Noone knows if they are alive or dead. This was the biggest event of her life and left ALOT of emotional scarring.

Other: Good. Halfway break barrier. Is up for love

Picture/Desciption: Long black hair,Green eyes,Very pale skin,and very slightly pointed ears. Very tall and lean for a girl her age. Very cute to other boys she knows.

Personailty: Alysaa is actually quite violent when she does not like you. But when she likes you she can be quite sweet and give you gifts alot.(Especially if you are a boy) She is honest and the way she wants to die is giving her life for one of her friends.

What They Are: Sound creator

Talents: Is quite agile and is quite smart and wise (almost a elves smartness and wisdom, see what I did there!) Can think of a place and teleport there.

Flaws: Not very good with dealing with her anger on people she hates. She can be hurt easily (especially losing conciousness-wise) And can be WAY too overconfident.

History: Her parents died when she was just 5 years old from a ambush on the camp they were staying at that time. She grew up not knowing whom her father really was even. She was raised by her mother until she was 5 years old then moved in with her Grandma because of troubles in the family. She was a only child.

Other: Good. Half-way agreeing. She is very much up for love. She has a very odd necklace that she found in a basket in her Grandmas' house. It has 'good luck' on it. She finds out later that is a cursed necklace.

Gender: Female

Age: 14

Picture/Desciption: Claire has a deep unnatural shade of red hair (waist length) , chocolate brown eyes, and a long, shiny, graceful tail to match her hair. Unlike other mermaids of her kind, she can switch between having legs or her tail. She has a pretty good tan and is very slim and agile.

Personailty: She's loyal to her friends and holds them close.Claire loves her little sister's and would do almost anything for them. She's a great athlete and loves to lay out in the sun for a nice tan.

What They Are: Mer person (mermaid)

Talents: She's very fast, faster than most people/ mer people at swimming. Not to mention flirting. ;D

Flaws: She can be a pretty big brat at times. She's very vain and admires- pretty much worships- her hair.

History: She grew up in a rich family with 4 younger sisters.

Other: Can't decide on being evil or good (weighing towards evil). She likes to flirt with boys, and maybe she'll get one.

Name: Eric Sinclair

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Picture/Description: He's a very beautiful fellow, tall and thin, almost model material, with wild red
hair and bright hazel eyes (usually green, but occasionally violet). He has an eye-patch over his right eye from a supposed "childhood accident" and often keeps his hair out of his face with a headband.

Personality: His cover is a very nice fellow, kind and generous. He has an excellent memory and uses his powers for the good of the King. Really, though, he's a jerk. He's selfish and working for his own gain; he wants to destroy the humans because he believes them to be inferior.

What They Are: Sorcerer for King Devmani

Talents: He's very skilled with magic, particularly potions and combat magic, and is extremely cunning, with an IQ higher than 200.

Flaws: Outwardly, he's pretty much perfect, if a little selfish. On the inside, however, he's as twisted and rotten as they come. Ya' can't judge a book by its cover.

History: His true history...? His parents were brutally murdered when his seven, and his twin sister, Guren, went missing that same night, and is believed to be dead. He later killed the perpetrator, a human, and now seeks vengeance upon the entire race. His grandfather has since raised Eric, but even he doesn't know Eric's true intentions. At 15, Eric was hired by King Devmani, and he's feigned loyalty ever since.

Up For Love: He's evil...But I s'pose so.

Other: Not much else to say. I guess I could spoil the surprise, though, and tell you all...His sister is alive~ She's also quite skilled at magic, but is pure-hearted (-ish), so I imagine they'll clash eventually.

Picture/Desciption: 6 inches tall (She is a faerie, so this is fairly average), blonde hair with a pinkish hue, thin with naturally green fingernails and toenails, skin is nearly paper white, but is decorated with swirly green and pink vines and roses (this is also normal for faeries) Average in nearly every aspect, and HATES it.

Personailty: Hates being so normal, and wants to stand out instead of blending in as she always has. Wishes she could do more in life than work with flowers all day. Is painfully curious and this has gotten her into trouble on several ocassions. WANTS TO BE APPRECIATED (you'll hear this from her a LOT.)

What They Are: Faerie

Talents: Talented in making plants grow and can sing like an angel, but in faerie society this isn''t such a big deal.

Flaws: Too curious for her own good. Ditsy. Doesn't like hard work and is stubborn about doing it. Bad at making decisions, thus a bad leader. Think of her as a follower.

History: Grew up with her mother, father, and 17 brothers and sisters in a rose patch. Because she was the 10th born, there was little attention for her at home. She ran away at 12 years old. She wasn't missed, but she sure as heck misses home, not that she would ever tell anybody that... Has spent the last 3 years house-jumping, never giving her real name or making any real friends.

Other: Hates the barrier between groups because she believes that, if she is unappreciated in faerie society, perhaps another group would find her more unique and useful. Is up for love, but is turned off completely by boys who don't appreciate her (this has happened with every boy she has ever met, so she has pretty much given up)

Picture/Desciption: I wear a pink uniform and I have rainbow color wings. I'm about 5'2. I'm normally taller than any fairy around. I have blond hair and big, blue eyes that sparkle in the sun.

Personailty: I'm very nice, believes in everything especially when it comes to things when people don't believe. I teach people to BeLiEvE. Quote "The world isn't a special place if people don't BeLiEvE."

What They Are: I'm a Fairy that BeLiEvEs in everything.

Talents: I can sing like a bird in an early morning. Much like an Angel.

Flaws: I get overwelmed when I'm in the sky cause I'm not really good at flying yet. Remember I'm a fairy in training.!

History: I live with my stepsister Alice. She's a retired fairy. So she teaches me the main things about being a fairy. I'm a fairy in training.

Other: I'm good, not sinister. & I'm up for love <3 I also has a pet unicorn named Todum. My mentor is my stepsister Alice.

Name: Guren Sinclair

Gender: Female

Age: 17

Picture/Description: As Eric's twin sister, she's nearly identical to him. However, her hair is a darker shade of red, and her eyes are amber rather than hazel. Oddly enough, she does share his habit of pulling back her hair with a bandanna, and has a similar eye-patch, though it covers her left eye rather than her right.

Personality: Sarcastic, cynical, and a complete tease. If she'd gone down her brother's path, they'd probably be exactly the same. Luckily, she isn't really that kind of person. She hasn't had much luck in life, but she's not totally pessimistic, and as long as you aren't French (long story) she's easy to befriend. Sort of. It comes with a price, though...She'll probably tease you straight to your grave. XD That's just how she is, though.

What They Are: Sorceress

Talents: Once again, magic, particularly when it comes to dealing with weaponry. While she isn't quite the outward genius her brother is, her mind does rival those of some very prominent figures. She's also good at cooking, though she hates Chinese (and French!) foods.

Flaws: . . .She really has a completely unreasonable hatred for French people. Also, magic has a way of messing with people...So, at times, she's not the most coherent person around. She's a bit impulsive and has a tendency to annoy people even when she doesn't actually mean to, as well.

History: After the deaths of their parents, during which she was seperated from Eric, Guren was taken in and raised by a human orphanage. So, despite her magical heritage, she's quite fond of humans. Later on, she was discovered by an organization called the "Rose Cross", who desperately wanted (and needed, really) her to join them. They made her an "offer" she couldn't refuse, she was shipped off to China, and now, she's finally made it back to her country of origin. I'm thinking things might go a little haywire from there...?

Up For Love: Well, she's got a childhood sweetheart, but love will find a way, hmm? That aside, she's a very strong feminist (I must make up for Remiel somehow).

Other: Her childhood love~! Oh, he's so adorable. Or, was adorable. Actually, even then he was kind of a brat. Actually, he's still adorable, but the brat factor eclipses that at times.

Even though he doesn't get to make a cameo...Her best friend does, though, I hope that doesn't really count as a character...? He's just kind of there in her past. Maybe some flashbacks when she's not-so-coherent. Also, her nickname is "Hachi". It means "eight". XD Another very long story...
