I looked at the unpleasant tasting fish and cast it back into the river. Then without making a shadow, I hooked a more tasty looking catfish out of the water. I instantly thought better of it and swiped it back into the river without killing.
"Not hungry," Gaerith asked
"No, I'm king of tired of catfish. Can we go back to the Euphrates river? I miss my pheasants and salmon," I whined.
"You don't like it hear any more," he asked clearly joking
"No."
"No?"
"No," I repeated solemnly
"I want to go back to my tribe," I said
"I though you didn't want to be bound by their decisions Kailia.
"True but my family, friends and I are still apart of the Euphrates- Malasian tribe." Then I stood and trotted into the great forest in between the twin the rivers.
"Kailia," Gaerith insisted," Let's spend a little more time at the solstice pool."
"Why Gaerith what are you hiding from me!"
"Wha- Nothing!"
"Nothing I just don't think it's best for you to go there," he pleaded.
"Whats best for me! Since when do you know whats best for me! I can make my own decision. Just because your my forced mate doesn't mean you can tell me what to do!
Gaerith narrowed his eyes. "I've never told you what to do. This one time I decide to make a suggestion, you just snap at me. You won't give me a chance Kailia!"
I turned and stalked into forest. My anger flaring at my paws and my tail sweeping the ground, I disappeared into the shadows.
"Wait Kailia! Your Tribe it got taken over by the red tiger!"
"WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!"
