| Subject: The Meaning (Part 2) Tokyo, Japan Sun Jul 04, 2010 11:53 pm | |
| Tokyo, Japan
Reino Sunoimi was rich, famous, beautiful, ect, ect, ect...Honestly, he was just tired of his father repeating the same worthless crap over and over. "Oh, my wonderful, gifted son, how I adore your beauty! The world marvels at how charming and chivalrous you are~! Blah, blah blah..." The man couldn't shut his mouth to save his live, and it annoyed the heck out of his only son, Reino.
He was probably one of the most un-Japanese Japanese people in the world. Scratch that, he was the most un-Japanese Japanese person in the world. 100% Japanese...and a blonde. A BLONDE. He might as well have been born a girl! Of course, women were always fawning over him (as if he cared), but that didn't change his disgust with his "beautiful" appearance. Not handsome, or even "hot", just beautiful. For any sane teenage guy, that was just sick. Ugh.
And his eyes! Sure, they were the traditional almond shape, but they were some kind of weirdo purple color. They might as well be pink! He might as well be an albino! Curse the world...
Oh yeah, that was another thing. Despite his fame as an upcoming model, he hated people. No, not hated...He abhorred them. They were the bane of his existence. Always striving to gain higher positions in life by plotting and betraying, always judging based on appearances and money...
"REEEINO-KUUUN~!" Speak of the devil, and the devil shall appear...Curse that horrid saying.
"Yes, father?" he called, slipping out of the chair he'd been sitting in. It was an antique model bar stool; very convienent when he needed to navigate his desk, which was in the shape of a half-circle.
Reino's father, Taro Sunoimi, was a man of common birth. He had originated in the rural Okayama Prefecture; his father and mother were both farmers, though very successful. Taro himself was extremely hardworking, and thus had fought tooth and nail to make his way into Tokyo University, one of the world's most prestigous colleges. There, his success had continued, until he had become an inventor and one of the richest men in the world. Now, of course...Well, Reino had his suspicions. While his father positively adored Reino (and ended up spoiling him within an inch of his life), he was not the kindest of men. Reino suspected he'd had dealings with the yakuza, the Japanese mafia, on various occasions.
But that was merely what he suspected. There was no solid evidence.
"Reino-kun, I found her~!" his father cheered, looking like he was about to burst with excitement. For such an obviously refined man, this was a rather frightening sight.
"You realize I have no idea what you're talking about..." Reino sighed, crossing his arms over his chest and leaning against one of their home's many pillars. His new leather jacket squeaked slightly in protest.
"The girl, baka, Arisa Reiko-chan!"
"WHAT--REIKO?! REIKO ARISA?!?!"
Part 2~! This is one of my few original stories, so it'd be nice to get some feedback. It'll end up being a sort of Hunger Games set-up, but very, very different. I've already got a kind of description in Story-Booking...These parts are to introduce the six main characters.
~Tobi~
Reiko looks like my avatar, only more feminine, in my imagination...

| The first couple paragraphs made me think of the song Blah Blah Blah by Ke$ha. 'Stop talkin that blah blah blah' and 'Shut your mouth like a padlock'~! Which, btw, I would say a LOT to this kid in school who would not, by any means, SHUT UP TO SAVE HIS LIFE. XD Love will tell you all about it as well. Your use of words, charming and chivalrous and abhorred and bane and etc, etc, etc.... You are an expert when it comes to describing people. Keep it up~! ~Nikki | |
