Aphrodite here, and I just wanted to talk to you all about the rules and regulations of posting in the art forum. If you want to post a picture, that's grand!
However, to make each member's experience more enjoyable, please follow these rules.
1. Re-size Your Photo/Drawing
On YWS, It's crazy how many people in the Art+Photography forum have images that stretch out everyone's browsers, which is absolutely no fun at all for the reviewer. So please, re-size your photo. If you don't know, 400x600 is a good rule of thumb.
The following are not actual rules, but this that are strongly recommended.
2. Photography Archive
If you are a photographer, you'll continually take new pictures, right? It is easier to set up 1 thread of your photos then going around clogging up the forum with a different picture.
3. Amount You Post
Try to not let the photos/drawings in your post exceed 10 at a time. Although we love to see your work, more just makes things harder for the reviewer. As such, you will be less likely to get reviews.
