| So,earlier today my name was blue. I was an instructor. Then, I get in a few minutes ago, get in the chatbox and my name is plain, boring black. All the usergroups are closed except evil minions, which I don't think I could be. I don't review as much as an evil minion should. Can't Cheez make a usergroup like 'dedicated writers' or something? Or open one/some of the others up? I want to be something, but I can't find it. IF I was an administrator-wait, that's closed. So I CAN'T be one. Come on Cheez, I don't mean to be mad, but I kind of am. Please make another usergroup that people can fit into. I'd really like that. Lots of us are dedicated writers (the people who aren't new who have, like, more than 100 posts) and I think you should honor that. I hope you will take my idea into consideration. Thank you. | |

| The best usergroups are the informal ones. StorYbooks and the friends you make on-site. I'd really love to be an administrator, but I'd have to do a lot more before I can. Deep inside, we've all wanted to send out a mass e-mail...
Let me give you a formula for how to get an admin to REALLY follow you: Post a heck-load in the community forums. Make sure your reviews are long and organized Report at least one problem or give a suggestion to the admin And then if they really aren't noticing... tell them straight out that you've been working really hard and want to be appreciated

| None of the instructors wered oing their jobs, Luv. I couldn't really let them sit there. Plus, you've done so many computer fasts, that I think you wouldn't have lasted very long, anyway. | |

| I guess so, but still. Naturally humans want to fit in (not that we're all human ) and I feel left out without a group. But I'll try what you said Hero. I want to be part of a group bad. | |

| I sort of agree... I really love the idea of a dedicated writers group or something like that for people who have posted a lot and really done their part in Wonderland. That would be a great way to show who is experienced and who to go to for help/advice. People would aspire to qualify (because, much like dear Luv, they like to be a part of something) and WHAM! Our site is moving far quicker with more entries and critiques. Some people just need that little push to get them going, even if it isn't worth much. I do, however, think that it was a good thing to take down all those other groups, because the members didn't do much more than the normal users did! For example, I am an instructor, but Cheez is right! I never really had the time to make new posts about my topic. I didn't even get ON Wonderland for a long time. (Hahaha, I like the whole "internet fasts" thing, Cheez. Nice metaphor.) So, really these people don't always diserve as much credit as they are given. BUT, some of the people whose groups were taken off the list DO diserve that extra credit, and some who weren't IN the groups diserve it too, so I am all for Luv's idea. I hope it goes through! You got my vote, Luv! Write on, girlfriend! ~grace1096 | |

| Grace, it wasn't a metaphor. For 2 months I stayed off the computer for either 1 hour or less. Since I'm just not good with giving up food, I stay off the computer and use that time to talk with God. Though most of the time I just watch TV, but I try. | |

| I agreE with you Luv, though I don't have over 100 posts I always post stories and poetry that are long and hopefully good. I haven't posted instructionals in a while though and I understand that was my responsibility but I want to be in a group as well and it made me feel real awful because it seemed like all my hard work was wasted. Do you understand what I mean | |

| This is a delicate situation. To some people it might seem like a retaliation of sorts. I had been an instructor, and believe me, I hadn't done ANYTHING. Although I was sad I didn't have a position anymore, and I was sad, Cheez is right. how many instructors were actually insructing? None. Sorry, to be harsh, but the truth hurts. Anyway, it is unfortunate that most usergroups are closed. Everyone in life wants to fit in somewhere. That can make people do irrational things that consume them, but that's beside the point. I think it would be reasonable to either open up the full usergroups or perhaps create a new one, as Luv recomended. A dedicated writers group I think sounds reasonable. However, this is Cheez's call. You can't be too terribly upset if she decides to go aganist it, and you can't be drunk New Year people if it does go through( meaning you're crazy and wild) I hope everyone eventually is satisfied. This isn't really a website run by one person who makes all the rules, it's a fun website were we create the atmosphere. You don't have to have a usergroup, and even if you don't or never get to be in one, you'll have us, your crazy Wonderland family, and with us, you're bound to fit in somewhere. -Rachelle41 | |
