In the Eyes of a Wolf (Short Story/ Chapter)

I leaped over the sharp rocks. The darkened forest grew endless. I had to run. I just had to. I couldn't force myself to stop. I had to get away from this place- the place where I had witness my mother's and siblings' slaughter. The smell of their blood haunted me. It replayed the scene of their murder in my head. I could see my hot breath in the air. White fluffy snow blanketed the twigs and stones, but it also made it harder to escape. Was this it? I wouldn't dare turn back, in fear he would catch me. I shivered. A few fallen trees blocked my normal passageway. Soon, I had ran too far off course. I heard nothing for a while.
I heard a sudden twig break. I turned around. A tall slender silhouette was tracking my every move. And then it was so quick, but so painful. Something struck me in the chest. My knees gave way. I fell down headfirst into the snow. It was a shade of crimson red. Then I realized, the snow was stained with my blood. I reckon my icy blue eyes looked as if I were about to faint, because reader, he caught me.

That was really good if you came up with it on the top of your head. Is the man that caught the wolf a vampire, and is s werewolf or a regular wolf? I think it was really goo, considering that when I try to some up with something off the top of my head, it usually fails.

Nah. Nothing too complicated. Just a wolf running for her life as the determined hunter (with a gun) chases her. She had just witnessed her family being shot by him, so she fled, trying to escape the scene and hopefully avoid the same fate. But yeah, I just woke up and started typing.

Interesting. I could never wake up and just write a story. Usually stories begin as scenes in my head, then reach paper. Writing on a whim is hard for me. But you can do it really well.
