| If you don't know the author, then just put the book name and look up the author later. And if you have more than one (I know I do!) then jkust list a few. My favorites: Margaret Peterson Haddix, Caroline (not sure how she spells it) Keene, author of The Giver and Number the Stars. Scott Westerfield is pretty good, but if he;d cuss less he;d be higher, though he does help me with futureistic book ideas such as Foreseen. I got the word: ping, from him. Thank you Scott! Can't wait to see what you guys say!

| The author of The Giver is Lois Lowry~ That book is very true, and very inspring, though she is not my favorite of authors...I'd have to say... Well, Margaret Peterson Haddix is definitely one of them. She's a brilliant author, and I love all of her books. Jane Austin is one of those olden days authors, but her book, "Pride and Prejudice" is one of my old-timey favorites...Melissa Marr, author of the "Wicked Lovely" books, is brilliant as well. Her books even spawned their own manga, which is pretty great for a fan such as myself. ...Let's see...Ah, J.K. Rowling! I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, too. You may not be a particular fan, folks, but ya' gotta admit her plot is pretty genius....
Jeez, I read so many books, and I like so many authors, I can't really decide...xD Well, that's all for now, then.

| Ooh, this is a tuffy. I'm more of a classical gal myself, so Jane Austin is way up on my list, with Erin Hunder, Suzanne Collins, and the person who wrote Flowers for Algernon. READ THAT BOOK! It's so sad and touching! | |

| I completely fporgot about Jane Austin! I love her books and saw part of the movie of Emma a book Rachel has from the library. I plan to read it too and maybe Persuasion as well. Pride and Prejudice? I'm not sure, but if it's by Jane Austin it's probably good. And Lois Lowry does write AMAZING books. | |

| My all-time favourite author is Margret Peterson Haddix, just like you, Luv2Type! Lois Lowry wrote The Giver and Number the Stars, both of which I've read(I am in the process of reading The Giver in my languge arts class) There is a really funny dream sequence in The Giver. The main character, Jonas, hits puberty at about 12, and he dreams that he wants this girl in his class to take her clothes off so he can bathe her! I personally think that's pretty funny.
Love is sacrifice and sacrifice is love. Beacuse you cannot love, yet not be willing to give of yourself. however, if you are willing to give of yourself, then you undoubttedly love in some state. | |

| Suzanne Collins, Stephanie Meyers, and Erin Hunter. I've been soo addicted to their books lately. It's hard to pick my FAVORITE, but I think Suzanne Collins is in the lead right now. Their books are so well written and I can picture them so clearly in my mind. I just adore em! ~Nikki | |

| My favorite author would have to be between Suzanne Collins, author of the Hunger Games trilogy and J.K Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series. Some of my other favorites are Lemony Snicket, author of the Series of Unfortunate Events and Micheal Scott, author of The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel Series. Also, it would have to be Christopher Paolini, author of the Inheritance Cycle ( Eragon,Eldest, and Brisingr) But at this point it is Suzanne Collins. She writes addictive books!
