Cold lights Enter the soul Stun the spirit And corrupt the mind
Dark shadows Envelope the body Strangle the limbs And seep into the flesh
If we cannot escape Our inevitable fate What good are we When faced with such horrors?
Yes We can never comprehend The pain we do not feel The blood we do not lose Or the thoughts that do not Drive us steadily to the Brink
Over the edge Into the abyss Of insanity.

Yeah, my kind of poetry is all that dark depressing stuff. Sorry to all you happy people, but this kind of poetry just comes to me. It's like whenever I feel like writing poetry, I just sit down and start writing some of this...Thanxies, Sara!
