The Beginning

For this challenge, I want you all to try and figure out how I got the idea for the site! You must start it with "In the beginning..." and so on. the winner will be rewarded 500 YWS points (If you have a YWS), plus 500 WL points. and get an awesome PM from an awesome Admin (me)! With this said, let it begin! Deadline is March 5th.

In the Beginning, there was cheese.

There was also Cheez, and Cheez said, "Let me write."

And she did write. And Cheez saw that the writing was good, and she called it "Insert Title Here".

And Cheez said, "Let there be a website that allows me to share this writing, that I may learn."

And there was such a website. And Cheez saw that the website was good, and she attempted to take it over. Cheez did not name the website, for it already had a name, and that name was given it by Nate, and the name was YWS.

And Cheez said, "Let me make such a website, that I may have supreme command over all young writers, and we may gain world domination through the wonders of our writing."

Thus was Wonderland born. With its small beginnings, it may appear to be an annoying itch betwen the shoulder-blades of the world, but soon, my friends, it will rule supreme over all the world, and expand across the universe to create the Wonderland Empire.

Small beginnings, my friends, but know this: Our secret task will be completed.

In the beginning there was Sara and it was dark. And Sara said let there be light! And there was light. Sara saw the computer and said let there be an awesome website called Wonderland! And so there was an awesome website named Wonderland. The end.

Cheez

It was a night like all others and Cheez was at home. And upon a couch she sat, she thought. "Vanilla Twilight" it hung in the air as her stereo sung quietly to the moon.

She dashed for the computer...

Then the following day, she thought. While talking to her friends, one said, "Dare, ye, oh Cheez of the West. Can ye create a website to the likes of that funny one you're always talking 'bout?"
"Sure, girl!"

And thus, Wonderland was in creation...

In the begining, There was a friend.
The friend had a friend named Bonnie.
The friend read lots of books but she had Ideas
Bonnie said friend should write
the friend thought...
and thought
and thought
and thought
until the friend got encouragement from arrow.
a double thumb up
then friend picked up a pencil and wrote
and wrote
and wrote
and wrote....
and wrote
when the friend was done
she shared with her friends
they giggled and laughed with joy
Arrow demanded more
the friend thought about other friends who could give her advice and write too
the friend imagined this place..
she imagined
and imagined
and imagined
and imagined...
then she said to space....
create.
and.......
Here we ARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Twas the night before Thursday, and all through the house
there came a small tapping, no louder than a mouse.
There we see Cheez, all intent looking and stuff
Writing a poem, about dandelion fluff.
She suddenly stopped typing, and searched, "make own site",
Google returned 6 million links, without putting up a fight.
And with a click of her mouse and a flick of her hand,
she made her own website, for kids all over the land.
She named this site, "WONDERLAND", and so as you can see,
The winner of this challenge will surely be ME!

In the beginning, Cheeze stood on a beach. Wind ruffled her hair, turning it over, twisting the locks in its fingers. She plonked herself down on the sand, running her hands through the particles on either side of her indent. Cool, damp, wielding. She sat to attention as the sun started to set, putting on an impressive show. It was a beautiful moment, but... something was missing in Cheeze's life. As the evening started to cool right down, she got up and went home.

She sat at her computer, tapping the keys rhythmically as she waited for YWS to load. Silently, she looked for any updates before cruising the Lounge.
Wait...
That's what was missing. Cheeze wasn't a mod of YWS, but leadership she did need. Cheeze wasn't a dreamer, but to dream she did need. Cheeze wasn't a mentor, but to help and nurture she did need. She was to live up to her writing name and imagine more than ever to help other writers. Excitement gripping her heart tight, she speedily searched Google. Free forums... Hmm. At last she found a link she liked, and clicked on it. This, my friends, was the real beginning.

"Hey guys..." she said, or something thereabouts. "Check my new site out..."
She posted the link.
And I clicked it.
