Dear Diary,
Full of devotion and secrets
Kept safe in my heart,
As if a part
Of my complicated, overrated life.
Dear Diary,
Full of questions and answers
Worn on my sleeve,
As if I were a childish schoolgirl
In this lonely and misunderstood world.
Dear Diary,
Today was a tragedy
I ran home crying a waterfall of tears
I tripped,
I stumbled,
Right into His arms.
Dear Diary,
I am a new person
Full of His truth,
Understanding fir the broken
I traveled through the Valley of Death
I am full of hope.
Dear Diary,
I found a remedy
I shall travel 'round this broken world,
Sharing hope through the Lord
I shall praise him more and more,
Today and forever more. ~ Nikki
