| There has to be a disaster, to be a happily ever after, cause that's how you find who you are. From disaster there is born strength, courage, will. Great things and much, much more. They do not block greatness, but bring it more instead. That's what Cater's doing. Becoming something great. And that is a wonderful reason not to worry. She's repairing from her disaster, and preparing. For her happily ever after. | |

| Subject: The Reason Behind the Poem Mon Apr 12, 2010 6:24 pm | |
| The reason behind this poem is a message to Carter's family and kinda herself. As many know, a girl was badly hurt in a car accident on Webb Ginn House Road. I personally know the girl. She was in my homeroom at school and she and her family are in my prayers. This poem I am going to be e-mailing to one of my teachers for them to get to her parents. I hope that it will comfort them. Some disagree with saying 'disaster', but that word shows what it is to me and what it truly is. It makes since. Kind of. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers. And thank you for reading my poem. | |

| This poem really stabbed me in the heart! (In a good way I hope you know.) I really felt what you could be feeling. Wonderful. I am keeping Carter in my prayers along with the rest of her family. It takes a great writer to grab my attention like your poem has. I loved it. | |
