'M not sure what genre this is. Probably indie, I've been really into indie lately. I wasn't really sure what is was before... but now I realize it's my kind of music; the kind that isn't really anything else. Also, I've been really into this show lately (thanks to tumblr) and in case any of you were wondering, it's the BBC show Sherlock, . I'd be more than happy to link you all the episodes. ;D I wish I could sing this song with my silly soprano range...
Soldier On by The Temper Trap
Lyrics:
Who wants to know All that is gold is rusting No one will know When seasons cease to change and... How far we've gone How far we're going It's the here and the now And the love for the sound Of the moments that keep us moving
Waves crash along The battered, lonely lighthouse Tomorrow she's gone And if not, someday, somehow Are these hands a waste? Well, this side of mortality is Scaring me to death To death
Don't think about it at all Just keep your head low And don't think about it all
Oh...oh...oh... Oh...oh...oh...
Soldier on Soldier on Keep your heart close to the ground Soldier on Soldier on Keep your heart close to the ground
Don't think about it at all Just keep your head low Don't think about it at all
Yeah, will you take me tonight Yeah, will you take me tonight Yeah, will you take me tonight
Oh, tonight
Soldier on Soldier on Keep your heart close to the ground
~Tobi ~You'll notice the vid doesn't have all the words; it's a shorter version. ~This post is a combination of Brokeback Mountain feelings and Reichenbach feelings and general feelings. ~Yes, John is an awful person who says a very bad word, but it makes me giggle every time. My apologies. John should learn to censor himself. I really wish I could sing this song... I'll have to mess around with the pitch. ~And look at that dark-haired gent with the excellent bone-structure! He couldn't be the same fellow I mentioned in my War Horse post! ...Naaaaw...
