A/N: Here's a weensy little baby of a thing I jotted down in my spare time. ;D Shows just how little spare time I have...

There was no one and nothing; not a sound but the silence surrounding him; not a sight but the darkness that held him captive.

Love, one lost, is never easily regained. He knew this to be undoubtedly true, and yet, he sought to regain the love that had been torn away from him. All he had ever desired was love, but it had never come to him.

Instead, he was left alone. Forever alone, in a darkness that contained naught but another soul besides his own.

~Yeah. My awesomely uncreative titles...Faaail.~

Life is like thunder; powerful, confusing, wonderous, loud, inexplainable, sudden, beautiful in ways you can't even begin to describe, and completely unexpected. Death is like lightning; it strikes even the most powerful things, and shoots through the ground to everyone nearby, leaving them with only a painful aftershock.

Almost dying changes nothing. Dying changes everything.

Cry me a river, build a bridge, and get over it.
