What are your Pet Peeves?

Well, we all have something that just GETS to us, so it'd be best if we could avoid stepping on each other's toes. So...What are YOUR Pet Peeves?

OMG, I forgot my first and most important pet peeve...NEVER spell my name with a "y". Yes, I'm aware that it's usually spelled "Toby" but my name is NOT "Toby"!! It is TOBI!!! Spell it otherwise, and I will hunt you down, and things will happen. I'm not going to say what kinds of things. 'Cause I'm not a violent person. Which you all know is a blatant lie...

I, personally, cannot STAND dreadful grammar...but there are a few words I'm particularlly picky about.
1) Yeah. It's yeah, not "ya". I don't even know why people write it like that.
2) Stuttered. Not "studdered". When you say it, where the heck d'you here a "d" sound?! It's "t" all the way!
3) Scared. Like, you're scared of clowns. You're not "scarred" of clowns! That is WRONG! If you're scarred, you were either mentally or physically wounded. The scar is the mark left behind.
4) Colonel. This is kinda a weird one. Firstly, it's pronounced "Kernel". But that does not mean it is spelled "Kernel/al", "Coronal", or "Colonal".
5) You're. A.k.a. "you are". Like, "you're dying", not "your dying"! Do not mess up homonyms. It's annoying. "Your dog" or "your cat", not "you're dog". And, "you're crazy" or "you're smart" not "your smart". That is WRONG. And ANNOYING.
DX There's many more, but those come to mind immediately.

Also...When you say "manga", it is not, "MAY-nga", it is, "MAH-nga". It's not like a mango, folks, say it right!

The bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki during WWII were...just wrong. Sure, it got Japan to surrender, and sure, they're probably better off for it...But what we did to Japan was inhumane. We didn't just totally obliterate two of their cities, and permantly scar the very few survivors and their ancestors. No, there was a time, before the occupation, when we dropped smaller bombs on their cities, setting them aflame. Then, during the occupation, even the formerly wealthy Japanese had to struggle to make ends meet. Too many innocent lives were lost, especially during those bombings. Hiroshima wasn't even a war base! So...Don't be like the many I've met who say America was in the right when they dropped atomic bombs on Japan.

I do not like it when people get in my face about religion. Yes, I am Christian. No, I do not attend church regurlarly. I don't get up early, for one. I am not really religious, either. Religion is not of vital importance to me. Yes, I know that is a bit blasphemous of me, but I do not like it when people start lecturing me about my lack of "religious zeal". I do not place the Bible's word above everything else, and while I believe in what I know to be truly important, there are certain things I will not stand to be lectured about. Know this, please. In addition...People are allowed to choose what to believe in. Do not demean or degrade people because their religion is different than yours. Do not pressure them to convert, either. It is their choice, and theirs alone.

Please don't trash-talk anime or manga around meeee~....This is for the sake of my sanity. I enjoy it. It has helped me understand many things, weird as that may seem. So don't go around saying how ya' just can't stand it~...

I am Polish. I don't like it when people make fun of that, it kinda hurts meh feelings~...

And, lastly, please please PLEASE don't let your cats eat Tim. XDDD He's too shiny to die!

XD I'm so morbid at four in the morning~...

'Kay..........I might take a little long on this..........

First of all, I HATE it when people spell my name wrong. I am a GIRL. I mean jeez. E, not A. You can at least look it up, y'know? I actually never really liked my name, anyhow. But at least respect it!
Second, it annoys me when people call me 'weird', and actually mean to annoy me.
Third, I KILL PEOPLE WHO SAY THEY HATE CATS! You could say 'Oh, their not my favorite animal' or something! Cat haters. WHAT PLANET DO YOU COME FROM? XD I'm hyper, sorry~!
Fourth, I detest getting up early. I don't have anything against people who get up early, mind you. It's summer! Now, if you have to..... Different story. But when people say 'You should really stop staying up late, and wake up early', I want to throw them as far as the eye can see. Maybe farther......
Fifth, I have my opinions. People, if you do not like them, I suggest you keep your mouth shut, otherwise, I ignore everything you have to say. For example my sister~! She hates everything I do. So I ignore everything she says~! That's why my house is still here! And why I have so many scars~! Forget I ever said that.
Sixth, I TOTALLY HATE IT when people tell me WHAT TO DO. HATE IT. I utterly despise it with my entire body. Don't EVER order me around. EVER.

'Kay....... Well that's not even a quarter of my pet peeves. But I might as well make it short. Just avoid these, and you'll live a happy life~! No scars~! From me anyway. I get plain ugly.

One of my biggest pet peeves is grammar! When people say anthing that can be mispelled I go insane on them.(not really but never spell wrong when i am around!) I also hate it when people call me Savannah or Suzi.(or anything of that matter!) I also hate it when people mistake me as a boy, because I love archery and bibi gun shooting. Also because i have short hair. I know that none of you guys will do anything that I just said but just getting it out.

You are so crazy, Tobi. These are some of my Pet Peeves-
-When people interupt me constantly when I'm talking. I know we all do it sometimes, and that's fine, but it drives me nuts when I'm talking, and I just got my first word out, and they interupt me. Once they finish, and start again, and they interupt me again, and for something that has nothing to do with the conversation really, really bugs me.
-If you're being very rude and'or mean to people who are different. It's really mean. How would you like beingpicked on?
-If I'm at somebody's house and then they invite someone over once I'm already there. I mean, I was here first. Can't you just hang out with that person once I've left?
-If you interupt a four square game that is in progress, it really ticks me off. Like, if your bouncing the ball into someone elses square, and then some random person hits the ball from the side.
-Having to play sports I lothe in PE is just plain terrible. Also, when you HAVE to play a sport and they won't let you walk the track or anything. The tey yell at you for not participating. Well, they're forcing you to play it, and you don't like it, so why should you have to be in the action?
-If someone disses me and it's really hurtful or rude, or when someone makes a big deal about something that isn't a big deal. Annoys me to death.
-When you try to change the conversation and someone just keeps on going back to the same topic over and over again.
-If you confide in someone that you don't like somethng about someone, they shouldn't go and tell them "Hey, so-and-so doesb't like that you do that." If I'm confiding in you, I want it to be kept secret.

A major pet peeve of mine is being called Rachel. That's my twins name and now that I've cut and donated my hair, tons of more people are getting me mixed up. My DAD even mixed us up teh first time he saw us. He did that before i cut my hair too. It gets so annoying! My friends sometimes call me Rachel on purpose and it drives me up the wall! Can't anyone get us right? I'm trying to laugh and shrug it off, but it's starting to get SERIOUSLY annoying. Does that ever happen to you people? Your parents or grandparents or someone calls you a siblings name or something? If they do, you know where I'm coming from.

You DAD did it? Woah. Dude. That kind of sucks.

My Mom's always calling me "Amanda" or "Sam" or sometimes even "Mikhail"... But I don't really mind because she always realizes her mistake, so it's amusing to all of us. I've accidentally called her "Mikhail" a few times because they both start with "M". But, I suppose it's different having a twin. Having met you, I must say that there are quite a few differences between you, and even if people cannot immediately tell you apart physically, I am sure that if they know you at all, mixing up your names is only a slip of the tongue because both of them start with "R", and the human brain is messy like that. ;D

I just wanted to add one or two more pet peeves of mine:

1. Chewing noises. If I am not eating, I cannot stand for anyone else to be eating because the sounds rub me the wrong way. I have been known to glare at people who eat in class especially, as I do not want to hear you munching and crunching when I am writing an essay. You can know that in my head, I am plotting various ways to permanently silence you. There have even been cases when I've started huge arguments with my brother over his chewing noises, as he has NO MANNERS and chews with his mouth open.

2. Phobias are called irrational fears because they are IRRATIONAL. Okay, so you want to go crawling around in some tiny playground and want me to join you. I say no and you call me a coward - but I'm claustrophobic for A REASON. I've had severe traumas involving small spaces and so I cannot stand them. Yes, I will scream and cry if I'm too close to a spider, or really any bug, but it's not as if I can simply stop being afraid. It's a reaction that has been built upon years of fear, and it is not so easily undone, so please do not hassle me about it or call me names because that isn't helping anything. That's just making me feel guilty and cry harder.

~Lol, I said one or two, but I knew I was going to write out two...

I tend to also get annoyed by people calling color/winter guard 'not a real sport' aka that guy in my Spanish class does it all the time. It also pretty dumb/annoying to act underage. At my school, there are these people who are freshman and act like total freshman! Okay, I'm a freshman too, but I don't act like THEY do. I try to act like at least a sophmore. And the sophmores who act like little kids too. So stupid. Or those really loud people who think they rule the world. ANNOYING! Okay, that was more like one big rant. But I'm not really caring, so there you go.

Still so terribly morbid early in the morning...XD
And in completely forgot that pet peeve, Luv! Teenagers who act like teenagers! I've had people ask me when I'm graduating from college, and it's not because I look particularly old (though I am quite tall XD), it's just in the way I act and carry myself. Yet, everyone else seems entirely content to just sit back, not apply themselves, and act entirely inappropriate. I know, I sound like an old lady, but as Luv stated, it's not funny. It's irritating.

OH. AND YOU PEOPLE WHO TALK DURING CHORUS CLASS AND CONCERTS. I don't have to know you to STRONGLY DISLIKE you. If you want to be all chatty, DROP THE CLASS. We do not have space for people who are not there to be a part of the choir. If you want to chat with your friends, cut class and do it on your on time. Do not waste ours, and do not show up at our concert and be wholly disrespectful to your choirmates, your audience, and your director. ;D Lol, I think we all get a little incensed when we think about our pet peeves...That's why they peeve us so. XD But really, I did not join Chorus so I can "Sing whatever songs I, like, want to, like, whenever" (quoting a classmate), I joined it to sing Choral music. You know that really epic music they use as soundtracks, or in symphonies? That's what I want to be a part of. I'm not even there for the solos - I'm there for the group. So that's why chatty oxygen-wasters rub me the wrong way. ;D
