Mwahaha, I so love my school's summer reading requirements. We have to read one book of our choice (from a list that's so long it's insane), and the book choices are mostly fun, modern stuff. Personally, as I am a total stick-in-the-mud, I chose 1984 by George Orwell. We read Animal Farm earlier this year, and I was really entranced by the allegory writing style, so...Yeah. I'm certain I'll enjoy it, though, and instead of writing papers, we get to discuss this book with whatever teacher listed it~!
Next week, I'm going on a week-long trip to...Wait for it...WASHINGTON D.C.. I know, I know, "Tobi, you haven't been to the capital of our totally awesome nation?". D; But I haven't had the time, and this is a trip organized by a few of my favorite teachers. I'm certain it will be epic; I'm a total history buff, and I'm considering a government position. They might, y'know, need me to save our wonderful country. I'll be sure to tell ya'll all about it when I get back~!
As for the rest of the summer, I'll probably be passed back and forth between friends and write. Write like my life depends on it, because it does. ;D
